Security is an Illusion
- Friday, September 26, 2008
As a kid growing up in the Boston area, I saw things no kid should see. Over the past 30 something years, traveling all over the place, I’ve witnessed people treating others and violating others personal comfort zones in unspeakable ways. Over the years as the worlds gotten much smaller and the media has focused on what bleeds leads in the 6 o’clock newscast, we can’t deny there are some real sick people out there, predators, who look at you and I as their natural prey.
I decided long ago that personal security, and teaching others what their options are, is my purpose. Daily I’m contacted by victims of crime and I walk them through the emotional and physical process of getting back on their feet and preventing something bad from happening again.
Today, I talk about all the things mom and dad didn’t teach you growing up. I talk about issues of security, from avoiding predators and thieves, and how to escape a home invasion, burning buildings or how to prepare for a natural disaster.
In today’s Xtreme world, going to school and learning your ABC’s isn’t enough. In today’s world with violence, terror and mother nature getting angrier and angrier, we need to further our education. In today’s world, Xtreme situations require Xtreme measures. Today’s world requires Xtreme School. Class in session!

Christy’s Experience
- Friday, September 26, 2008
Working on Xtreme school was the highlight of my life! I froze my ass off on the track, almost threw up in the backseat of the car as it whipped around the cones and had to put up with Rob’s diarrhea of the mouth!
Just kidding - it was lots of fun and..... believe it or not, I learned something too! The Xperts were great, the victims truly needed the information that they received on the show and I think it’s about time there was some useful, helpful, informative television out there that still incorporates the drama. After all, these are real-life situations we’re talking about! We all need “Xtreme School” as far as I’m concerned!
